A Few Tidbits for Parenting

The new parents face many problems and problems that are expected to understand and take care immediately. Unfortunately, newborns do not come with an instruction book, so here are some issues that you may need to know.

* Bathing your baby: Until your baby's umbilical cord falls from one to two weeks after the birth of her, just give her sponge baths. A cotton ball or a cotton swab moistened with alcohol can help dry the umbilical stump or follow the instructions of your pediatrician. After the stump falls, it can give you a bath in a sink or a shallow tub.

* Delivery of Caesaria: a Césarian is usually done so that delivery is safer for you or your baby. Sections C can be done for many different reasons, including stagnant labor, complicated labor, problems with the baby that can hinder delivery, or other problems. It does not matter if you make a section of Caesarian, which follows, it is still a mother with a new beautiful blessing.

* Circumcision: Many doctors agree that there may be some benefit for circumcision, but it may not be absolutely necessary. It can help reduce the risk of urinary tract infections and eliminates almost any possibility of penile cancer. Circumcision does not cause long-term emotional problems for your child.

* Death of the cradle (SIDS): many studies have been carried out with respect to the SIDS. Although the cause of SIDS has not been definitively defined, there are some correlations that have been made between SIDS and the following things:

Or it is more likely that male babies die of SIDS than females.

o Prematurity makes it more likely.

o Minority children are affected by it more often than non-minorities.

Oh, more children of young people, single mothers die of it.

or children who live in a house with one or more smokers are more likely to be affected

Some people say that sleeping with their baby can reduce the risk of SIDS, but the American Academy of Pediatrics does not agree with this statement and continue to say that there is a higher risk of SIDS in babies who are co-erented.

The back to sleep is what most pediatricians recommend that babies decrease the risk of SIDS. The reason for this is widely debated among health experts. If you have concerns, talk to your pediatrician.
